Reuters reports that South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has called for the creation of a system to protect against AI-powered attacks, following a series of cyberattacks on Korean banks. Shinhan Bank said that the personal data of about 25,000 customers had been leaked. Similar incidents affected KB Kookmin Bank and Hana Bank. Intrusion attempts were also detected at two other banks, but unauthorized access was prevented in time.
