The ETFs of $ETH have seen outflows for 8 days in a row:
-641M USD. For RWA and DeFi, that matters more than the drop in $BTC 📊
1️⃣ ETF week (Farside, Oct 5–9) - BTC: -701M USD. On Oct 7 and 8 alone, outflows totaled -729M - Fidelity's FBTC: -197M in one day; BlackRock's IBIT: -208M the previous day - ETH: 8 sessions in the red, with -641M in cumulative outflows. Worst day: -202M (Oct 6)
2️⃣ Why altcoins are falling more BTC fell ~2.4% in 7 days. $LINK and $AAVE fell ~6.8%: almost 3 times more (CoinGecko). When institutional money leaves, it sells the riskiest assets first. And almost all RWA and DeFi activity lives on Ethereum. When BTC sneezes, ETH altcoins catch a cold.
3️⃣ The underlying issue: rates and liquidity Treasury yields are rising → money is moving out of risk.
📅 Key date: FOMC on October 27–28. It will set the tone for liquidity for the rest of the year.
4️⃣ What the price doesn't say (DefiLlama) - Aave: ~18,300M USD in TVL, ~12,500M in loans, and ~716M in annual fees - Ondo: ~3,150M USD in tokenized real-world assets + tokenized access to pre-IPO companies - Chainlink: CCIP Vault Adapters and a demo with DTCC for institutional collateral (target: Q1 2027)
5️⃣ The bearish side ⚠️ LINK fell after CCIP 2.0 launched: adoption hasn't been reflected in the price yet ⚠️ AAVE buybacks have nearly disappeared since Q2 2026. We need to find out why ⚠️ $ONDO unlocks ~1,750M tokens on January 18 (36% of circulating supply) ⚠️ BTC is still 35% below its all-time high of 126K
6️⃣ What I'm watching
🔹 2–3 consecutive days of inflows into ETH ETFs
🔹 The Fed's tone on October 28
🔹 LINK and AAVE stopping their steeper declines relative to BTC
In short: the price reflects liquidity, not fundamentals. The question is whether the fundamentals can hold up until liquidity returns.
Is the price anticipating something worse, or is it decoupling from fundamentals? 👇
I hold $LINK , $AAVE, and $ONDO. Analysis, not financial advice. #BitcoinETFsSee244MNetOutflows #RWA #defi #BTC走势分析
