Chainlink launches CCIP Vault Adapters: Vaults can accept one-click deposits from 80+ chains without redeploying on every chain.
Put simply, depositing into a Vault used to mean bridging assets yourself, switching networks, and then approving the deposit—a lot of steps that could easily put people off. Now, standard ERC-4626 Vaults can connect to adapters through factory contracts, while accounting, strategies, and risk management remain on the main chain. Users can deposit directly from supported chains with one click.
Aave, Lombard, Venus, Maple, Veda, and others are already integrating. For example, Lombard lets BTC.b on Avalanche go directly into an Ethereum Vault. Cross-chain Vault distribution is finally getting some proper infrastructure.
