🇺🇸🇨🇦 The FBI just caught a suspect in the hack against its own staff.
Last month, a hacking group called ShinyHunters stole personal info on thousands of FBI employees through a system connected to the bureau's jobs portal.
Then they threatened to release the stolen data unless the FBI took back a public warning it had issued about the group's cyberattacks.
Now a Canadian man has been picked up in Pennsylvania, believed to be one of the main guys behind it.
FBI Director Kash Patel says the bureau will keep hunting down the rest of the group, wherever they are.
It's not every day the FBI gets to investigate a crime where it's also the victim.
