$ETH When I was little, a fortune-teller said I’d be troubled by love when I grew up. I thought he meant romance, but it turned out he meant the market. When I first got into crypto, I started with 50,000 yuan and turned it into 4 million. After graduating from university, I never worked a day in an office. I spent my days wandering around Kunming and Dali, never buying a house or a car. All my money came from growing my investments in crypto.
That 50,000 yuan didn’t just fall from the sky, either. At university, I tried affiliate marketing on Taobao, fake orders, courier work, and signing up for app promotions—those little side hustles gave me my first nest egg. Once I entered the crypto market, I didn’t chase after Bitcoin at ridiculous prices. I focused on leveraged ETH and quality altcoins, and stuck to a simple strategy: choose coins carefully and manage positions with discipline. When the market was bad, I took small losses; when a big rally came, I made serious money.
I’ve always believed that ordinary people can genuinely try crypto if they want to change their fate. If you can’t find a chance to turn things around in a market this liquid, it’ll be very hard to get rich from a regular job in this lifetime.
Today, I’m laying out my simple method, with a win rate close to 100%, in full. Many people have two equal sums of money: one is invested in BTC and up 30%, while the other is invested in ETH and down 30%. When deciding what to do, 80% of people will make the wrong move:
A. Hold both
B. Sell BTC to buy more ETH
C. Sell ETH to buy more BTC
D. Sell everything
Most people’s first instinct is to choose B: sell the BTC that’s gone up and use the money to buy more ETH, which has fallen. They think BTC has risen too much and feel uneasy holding it, so taking profits seems safer. ETH has fallen, so it seems less risky to buy more—and maybe both positions will end up making money.
But the market’s most ruthless rule is that the strong get stronger and the weak get weaker. As soon as you sell your profitable BTC, it turns around and keeps surging. The ETH you bought more of just sinks deeper into the red. Looking back, you’d have been better off holding both—you’d at least still have one profitable position.
The counterintuitive option C—selling the ETH that’s down and using the money to buy more of the strong, rising BTC—is the real path to getting ahead. It feels wrong and goes against common sense, but next time you’re faced with one winning coin and one losing coin, don’t follow your instinct to play it safe. The choice that feels “unreliable” is often the one that can truly help you turn things around.@渔歌趋势
