Bitcoin is down 0.24% at 82.5K, Ethereum is down 2.30%, and SOL is down 4.14%. The market remains divided. First, the results for the three coins I picked at midday, then today’s new faces.

STRK is up 34.64%, with 61.3 million in trading volume. It rose from 0.0560 at midday to 0.0741, a gain of 32.36%, and ranks third on today’s gainers list. I picked this one at midday, and it turned out to be the best call.

OGN fell from 0.0470 at midday to 0.03758, a drop of 20.04%. When I checked it at midday, I found no project-specific news, and its 7-day RSI was 84.91, indicating deep overbought conditions. I clearly said not to chase it. That call was borne out.

TIA fell from 0.5061 to 0.4747, a drop of 6.20%. At midday, I said that if I could only pick one, I’d choose it because its price level was the safest. As it turned out, it was the only one I explicitly recommended that fell. I got that call wrong.

Today’s two new faces are KAIA and RLC. KAIA is up 53.83%, with 18.4 million in trading volume. It’s a public blockchain formed by the merger of Kakao’s blockchain businesses in South Korea. I couldn’t find any specific news today, so this looks like sector rotation. RLC is up 43.38%, with 48.2 million in trading volume, rising from 0.8718 to 1.059. This is the one whose market cap I corrected a few days ago. It also has no new project news; this appears to be a continuation of its technical breakout.

My take is straightforward: neither KAIA nor RLC has a fundamental catalyst. This is purely capital seeking high-beta opportunities among small caps, and moves like this can reverse as quickly as they begin. The midday results also show one thing: a safe price level doesn’t guarantee a rise, while strong performers can keep getting stronger. I was wrong to recommend TIA, and I’ll own that.
