But farming Alpha still comes with significant costs.

Can the airdrops offset the costs after 15 days? Hard to say.
Many people returning to trade Alpha are drawn by Pre-stock.
Without that incentive, farming Alpha isn’t worthwhile for newcomers. Having a quota is no use if you don’t have the funds.
