An observation: After using TypeLess for two or three months, I found that my thinking density decreased, but my execution efficiency increased.

I had been using Whisperflow before. As a voice input tool, it doesn’t change my original meaning; at most, it removes some filler words, making it more like Voice Typing. TypeLess is different: it directly captures your intent and then clarifies it, making it more like Voice Writing.

The difference between the two is extremely subtle, yet fundamental.

Looking at the text I wrote on X and in my notes, before switching to TypeLess, the depth and information density of the content were both higher and more original. That should be the greatest value of not having your original intent altered.

But on the other hand, after using TypeLess for these past few months, my work efficiency really has been high. This is reflected specifically in communicating with Agents, who are better able to grasp what I want them to handle. Interacting with information online is also faster. For example, I have no trouble communicating in English, but sometimes I feel lazy when replying to messages. Chinese is much more convenient after all, and TypeLess’s function of speaking Chinese and typing out English is very useful in those moments.

But recently I suddenly picked up on a judgment that made me want to switch back: what everyone says, especially for creative workers, designers, product people, and business consulting, has a very important Language footprint. Since I’m also working on content and facing clients, the precision of meaning cannot be left to AI; it still has to be controlled by myself.

So I switched back to Whisperflow. The price is about the same, but in the long run it is more valuable to me.
