According to Binance’s October 9 announcement, the collateral ratios for certain cross-margin and Unified Account assets will be adjusted starting at 14:00.

A few changes worth noting:

🟢 ENA: 50% → 60%
🟢 ONDO: 50% → 60%
🟢 BCH: 50% → 60%
🔴 WCT: 30% → 10%
🟢 MASK: 10% → 30%

There’s an easy point to misread here.

A higher collateral ratio means eligible assets may receive greater collateral recognition under the relevant margin rules. It does not mean the platform expects the token’s price to rise.

Likewise, a lower collateral ratio does not mean the token is certain to fall.

What to watch today:

ENA: In a weak market, watch for any improvement in OI and aggressive buying after the collateral rule change.

ONDO: Focus on whether the policy change leads to an increase in trading volume and open interest.

WCT: Pay close attention to how margin pressure changes for related accounts after collateral efficiency declines.

My take is that what’s really worth examining today isn’t which number went up, but whether traders’ use of capital will change as a result.

The rules change first; capital may not follow right away. In the end, the market votes with trading volume and open interest.
