When an AI agent begins independently handling a client’s money—making payments, preparing documents and making purchases—a high-quality model alone will not be enough. A separate system of permissions, limits and security will be needed. Damir Battulin, Director of Digital Channels at Alfa-Bank, said this at the Digital Solutions forum.

He noted that an agent must understand the boundaries of its actions: when it can make decisions independently, when it must ask a person for confirmation, and which operations are off-limits altogether. At the same time, every AI decision can be configured and tracked on the bank’s platform.
