$JCT’s +45.77% is already a little out of date. What it’s really doing right now is pulling back. When I mentioned it three hours ago, it was up +43.9%. Since then, the net gain has barely changed, but its 24-hour range is a whopping 107.94%. The current price is sitting at 70% of that range, while the last hour is down 5.72% and the last four hours are down 11.16%—a steady slide. So where’s all the volume? It’s piled into the decline, and there’s plenty of it: volume over the last hour is 1.79 times the 24-hour average. The gains came earlier, but the latest volume is all pouring into the pullback. People chasing the leaderboard and people selling into the decline are meeting at the same price, and turnover is fierce. I was almost dazzled by that 45% too, but luckily the volume spoke first. The reason this is worth sharing is right there in those two numbers: 1.79x and -5.72%.
