It’s another day of face-swapping— the faces on the gainers’ leaderboard have completely changed from just a few hours ago. First, the conclusion: this round of heat is still pulse-like. The two upward swings are both over 37%, but the hourly volume is only 1.16x the average in both cases. They pulled it up, sure, but the momentum of sustained volume didn’t follow through. Sentiment is hot, but the conviction is weak.

$CTSI feels a bit awkward on the numbers: over the last 24 hours it’s up 21.73%, yet the price is only sitting at about 55% of the range. In the past 4 hours it’s still -2.00%, and the 42.72% swing suggests it was pushed up intraday and then got hammered back. With 1.16x volume, it can’t push the price back to the highs—it looks more like residual warmth after a pulse, not a price-and-volume push that’s moving together.

$龙虾 has a relatively solid structure: the current price is right around 95% of the range. In the past 4 hours it surged 17.67%, and among these three, the 24h trading value of 192.3M is the largest. After the price moved up, it hasn’t been knocked back down for now—this one belongs to the category where volume is actively pushing. But again, with hourly volume only just over the average (1.16x), the push isn’t particularly strong, and there aren’t many hands continuing the rally. The move is tall, but the follow-through isn’t thick.

$ORCA is a textbook panic sell-off: in the past 4 hours it’s -12.60%, straight down to around 5% of the range. The swing of over 36% is basically a one-way drop. Still, in the last hour, volume has retreated to 0.96x of the average and the price has gone sideways, meaning the selling momentum is easing. Now it looks more like a dead calm after the sell-off—no one is stepping in—rather than another round of volume-fueled downward acceleration.

From midnight to now, the gainers leaderboard has turned over again and again— the rotation tempo is laid out there. In this kind of structure, I’d rather wait for two things: first, whether the leading stock can hold the price in the upper part of the range without needing to print huge volume; second, when the sell-off stocks’ volume re-expands and the price stops probing lower. Until these signals show up, I’ll just watch and do nothing.
