It’s been staring at me until now—three o’clock is almost here—and that ETF data from the daytime is still stuck in my head.
Yesterday, the Ethereum ETF saw net outflows of several hundred million, and this is the seventh day in a row. Even weirder: the Bitcoin ETF didn’t hold up either—both of them have been moving money out together. The money is really being withdrawn.
Earlier, I thought only the smaller coins were hurting, but over here even the big players couldn’t keep their face. $ZEC today dropped by more than ten points. The volume ratio also spiked compared to usual, and this kind of drop often means someone is definitely moving out.
Before, people online were cursing it a lot, and I kept mouthing off too. Now it’s clear who can talk tough—and who ends up hurting.
Once macro liquidity gets tightened, the first ones to suffer are always those with the worst liquidity. The outflow ratio for Bitcoin works out to be slightly lower than Ethereum’s, which suggests the money isn’t all rushing to the safest places—it’s just running. $ZEC
