According to an official announcement, the decentralized autonomous organization Pyth DAO has approved OP-PIP-136, deciding to allocate all (100%) funds obtained from its portfolio of products to purchase PYTH in the open market and deposit it into the reserve treasury. Previously, this ratio was one-third of the non-PYTH treasury balance. The proposal replaces the prior monthly, vote-by-month authorization process with a standing long-term authorization, and it also applies to the treasury’s existing non-PYTH assets.
