$ZEC There’s no shortage of news, so first check the price at 1192—whether it holds or not
Today’s ZEC news flow isn’t exactly quiet. Grayscale says the Zcash ETF size has passed one billion, and Winklevoss has also pushed a Zcash ETF toward Nasdaq. There’s also a new quantum-resistant version of Zcash public chain, Quantus, which reportedly received investment, but the pre-mine ratio has been under discussion.
With so many positives piling up, the price still dropped more than seven points, and the current price is around 1216. This suggests the market isn’t really absorbing the news right now—at least in the short term, the momentum is still weak on its own.
I lean toward the bears. On the four-hour chart, both moving averages are sitting overhead, and while the funding rate is still positive, there hasn’t been much evidence of strong follow-through or buying support. If price goes back above 1373, I’ll admit I was wrong.
Below, 1192 is the low from the past couple of days. If it can’t hold, don’t touch it for now. I expect it will likely keep grinding lower.
