The benefit of having reach is that even outdated news can still get views when you post it, as long as you're on the right track.
For example, this lady boss posted things that I had already analyzed in detail back in February. I started talking up $HYPE and HYPE around February, and kept doing so. Then institutions began building positions in May, and AQA v2 changed the earnings picture.
Back in February, I felt it had hit bottom and that the fundamentals were still strong. By May, that strength had been confirmed, and institutional capital coming in—along with the interest income from AQA v2—reinforced its fundamental moat.
But it didn't matter. A lot of people always think the information comes too late, because they can't tell what information is actually useful.
At the time, I wrote a lot about HYPE: the founder's background, how the project had developed and how it handled difficulties, how powerful the buyback mechanism really was, and so on.
But whenever I ran into a nitpicker, they'd bring up the massive token unlocks. I'd explain that the team had actually received very few tokens from the unlocks, but it was no use. Most people just couldn't make sense of it or understand.
I even talked it up many times while livestreaming and chatting with a few friends, but hardly anyone bought in. I even said HYPE might be the biggest opportunity of 2026. Knowing my personality, I don't like to make sweeping claims, so the fact that I said that shows just how confident I was in it.
What was even worse was that hardly anyone saw that article at the time. (For one thing, An'an seemed to throttle the reach of posts mentioning the HYPE platform back then. I'm not making that up—my article was even taken down just because I included a screenshot of the HYPE platform. I can understand why, though. The other reason was that I had no followers and no reach. Most people simply never saw it.)
That's why I've started working on building an audience now. Without reach, in this chaotic market, even if your views are proven right in hindsight, and you shared them early enough to help people, they can still get drowned out by noise. To avoid that, and to have some influence, I think you need a certain amount of reach to do the right things and share the right ideas.
I guess this is the compromise you have to make if you want to do the right thing in an era when bad money drives out good.
