In crypto, we often need information from 𝕏 for investment research.

But Codex/Claude Code generally can’t access information on 𝕏 directly. There are a few ways around this. The first is to pay for 𝕏’s API or use a third-party API, but 𝕏’s API isn’t cheap, and setting it up can be a hassle.

The second is to use Grok directly. But Grok is definitely not as intelligent or comprehensive as Codex/Claude Code, and Codex/Claude Code are still the main Agents most people use.

Here’s one approach I use: have Codex/Claude Code use Grok themselves.

You can do this with “Grok Build,” the CLI version of Grok, which can access information on 𝕏. All we need to do is have Codex/Claude Code call Grok Build on their own whenever they need to look something up on 𝕏, and ask it for the answer. This gives us something similar to an API.

For me, this doesn’t incur any extra cost.

I already subscribe to 𝕏 Premium+, so I can use Grok Build for free. A lot of people don’t know this and are missing out on the free Grok Build usage 𝕏 gives them.
