There’s a deadline coming up for GOAT Network that’s worth keeping an eye on ⏰

October 23: Stargate support for GOAT Network will end.

If you still have USDC.e, USDT, or WETH in your wallet, it’s best to withdraw them from DeFi first and then bridge them via Stargate. These three tokens were issued by Stargate, and Stargate is the only way to redeem them. After the deadline, they may be difficult to exchange if left on-chain. The chain itself, its own bridge, and native assets are unaffected.

What GOAT Network is doing is really about different aspects of the same thing: enabling AI agents to discover, pay, and verify directly, with settlement handled as much as possible by Bitcoin rather than decided by a committee or custodian 🐐

Last month, GOAT Flow went from “launched” to “people are starting to use it” 💸

StableJack is now integrated, with 96 market data APIs. The AI pays from its own wallet—0.5 USDC per transaction, with payment verifiable on-chain.

Kult Games is the second example, with a more straightforward setup: one agent hires another to do a job. The work is independently verified when it’s done; if it passes, the payment goes through, and if not, it’s refunded. A full task has already been settled using real USDC. Flow handles proof of payment, while the other party handles proof of work.

Security is advancing in parallel 🔐

The BitVM3 bug bounty ran for six weeks. The first batch of 86 findings was categorized, 13 received rewards, and the final batch is still under review. They also mapped out the post-quantum landscape, reviewing seven cryptographic areas. Six need action, and they also examined whether hash-based signatures truly count as post-quantum secure. European regulators also classified quantum computing as a risk last month, so they’re getting ahead of the curve in planning the migration order.

Really, it all boils down to one thing: Bitcoin is the ultimate settlement layer 🟠

When you settle somewhere else, you’re holding someone else’s promise—not Bitcoin itself. On GOAT Network, whatever the asset, settled transactions are ultimately anchored to Bitcoin’s finality. There’s also been an update on agent payments in Q3: transaction volume had its biggest month since the winter peak. The average transaction is still around 32 cents—demand is there, but amounts are still small.

More than 450 people visited the booth over two days, and over 310 made purchases on-site using AI agents. For most, it was the first time they’d let an agent spend money. Kevin’s talk was all about this: your next customer is an AI agent.

At the end of the day, @GOATNetwork isn’t trying to build yet another flashy chain. It wants to lay the groundwork for agent-economy settlement that works in practice: verifiable payments, verifiable work, and ultimately, settlement back to Bitcoin. It’s still early, and transaction amounts are small, but people are already starting to use it 🐐
