A quick look before the market opens. BTC is currently stuck at 83,226, down 2.70% over the past 24 hours—overall, it’s looking weak. ETH is hovering around 2,570, down 4.70% over the past 24 hours, and it’s looking weak too.
BTC traded between 82,787 and 85,598 overnight, and these levels are pretty important. If it can open with higher volume and hold around 85,598, short-term sentiment should improve quite a bit. On the other hand, if it drops below 82,787 right at the open, today will most likely be a range-bound day.
ETH is more dependent on BTC’s lead. If Bitcoin doesn’t pick a direction, it’ll be hard for Ether to move on its own. Trading volume is 1.124 billion USDT—not particularly active—which suggests everyone is waiting for a signal at the open.
I’m not going to jump in as soon as the market opens today. I’ll watch for half an hour first, then decide once the direction is clear. The market will still be there; there’s no point rushing.
