🧧NEWS: U.S. MOVES MORE THAN US$ 100 MILLION IN BITCOIN AND BNB 🇺🇸

Ninjas, a major movement is on the radar. 🥷🏽

Wallets associated with the United States government moved approximately US$ 103 million in crypto, involving around 833.6 $BTC and 40.285 $BNB.

What caught people’s attention was where the Bitcoin ended up: the #BTC passed through intermediary addresses and arrived at addresses identified by Arkham as Coinbase Prime deposits, on an institutional platform used for custody and trading large volumes.

The assets originated from seizures carried out by the U.S. government. Some of the BTC is linked to the HashFlare and Bitfinex cases, while the BNB is related to seized assets linked to Alameda Research.

⚠️ But keep in mind: a transfer doesn’t mean a sale.

So far, there’s no confirmation that the U.S. government has sold these Bitcoins. Coinbase Prime is also used for institutional custody, and some of these assets may be related to restitution proceedings.

🥷🏽 And the question is: why move these assets right now?

Custody reorganization? Restitution? Or preparation for some operation involving assets that could be liquidated?

The blockchain shows that the money moved, but doesn’t reveal the intent behind the movement.

For now, don’t mistake a transfer for a sale. But when more than US$ 100 million in crypto linked to the U.S. government starts moving, the Ninja puts it on the radar. 👀
