BlockBeats news, Oct. 7: A report by the World Gold Council said global gold ETFs attracted $10 billion in inflows in September, pushing third-quarter inflows to a record $31 billion, led by funds listed in Europe and North America. Despite falling gold prices, global gold holdings increased by 67 tonnes to a record 4,256 tonnes, while total assets under management fell 7% quarter over quarter to $574 billion.

By country and region, record third-quarter inflows were led by the United States, followed by strong contributions from UK-listed funds. The UK recorded its strongest quarter ever, helping Europe reach the same milestone at the regional level.
