$ETH Something feels off with this setup.

Price hasn't really fallen—just -0.01% over 15m—but volume has surged to 2.1x, while OI is up 0.33% over 15m, with notional up +20M. Price is moving sideways, volume is picking up, and leverage is building—this doesn't feel like a shakeout; it looks more like someone quietly adding shorts.

Now look at the aggressive trade delta: -7.7%, with a buy/sell ratio of 0.86. Selling pressure is clearly bearing down on buyers. On the 5m timeframe, Binance liquidations came in at 158K, concentrated on the sell side. The OI anomaly percentile is 91.1%, ranking #16 across the whole pool for anomalies and #2 for notional change, with the trend continuing over several consecutive intervals.

1h OI is down 0.36%, which suggests positions were being unwound earlier, but this 15m move has pushed it back up again. There's a strong chance new leveraged shorts are piling in.

I'm in no rush to act right now. With a setup like this, either the shorts are digging their own grave, or this is the final buildup before a drop. I'll wait for volume and OI to point clearly in one direction. No need to get swept back and forth in the middle.
