Altcoins are really taking a beating today.
$UNI couldn't hold up either—it plunged straight from around $9 to about $8.1, down roughly 8% on the day.
At times like this, one reaction is especially common:
Is it over for UNI this time?

But I actually want to say this: if you truly believe in UNI, now is when you most need to stay calm!
Because anyone can say they're bullish when prices are rising.
At $10, people shout out price targets. At $8, they start questioning their conviction.
That's the reality of crypto!

Take another look at $UNI 's recent price action. It took off from around $7 in mid-September, surged above $10 at one point, and has now dropped back into the $8 range.
So I wouldn't take today's big red candle as proof that the underlying thesis is gone.
It looks more like a sharp correction after the earlier rally, compounded by the broader altcoin market repricing risk.
Of course, $8.1 doesn't necessarily mean we've hit the bottom.
But the lower the price goes, the more the risk-reward ratio starts to become worth reassessing.
Especially with CME planning to launch UNI futures on October 19, pending regulatory review.

So I won't dump UNI just because it's down 6% or 8% in a day.
Instead, I'll start watching:
Can it hold around $8?
If it finds support here, rebounds on strong volume, and gets back above $9, then today's panic selling could end up fueling the next move higher.
That's just how crypto works.
When prices rise, you think they're too expensive.
When they fall, you're scared.
The most comfortable entry points often come when those two emotions take turns.
I'm still bullish on $UNI over the long term. The harder it falls today, the more I want to research it carefully instead of letting emotions lead me.
Don't wait until it gets back to $10 to start FOMOing again.
