I refreshed the 24-hour data around noon. There’s really only one name on the leaderboard worth talking about. Sentiment-wise, this is the kind of market where trading activity is concentrated on a single coin—the heat is all on one ticker. The rest aren’t on my radar for now, so I won’t make any claims about the market overall; I’ll just talk about what I’ve seen.

$Lobster is up 54.44% over 24 hours, with an 81.24% range and 300.4M USDT in trading volume. Put those three figures together, and the first thing that comes to mind is that bulls and bears fought hard throughout the day. This wasn’t a slow, one-way grind upward. The current price is sitting at the 70% mark of its 24-hour range, which suggests it was sold down from the highs. After its surge, it has given back about 30% of the day’s range.

The key is the recent volume. It’s up 5.36% over the past hour and 9.77% over the past four hours, while the one-hour volume is 1.55 times the 24-hour average. So, strictly speaking, this isn’t a weak bounce after a low-volume pullback. The latest push higher is backed by above-average volume, and that volume is real. But that’s also where the contradiction lies: volume at 1.55 times the average doesn’t match an 81% range and a 54% gain. It looks more like the bulls temporarily getting the upper hand amid intense turnover at elevated levels, rather than fresh capital steamrolling its way in. Also, more than half of the four-hour gain came in the most recent hour. That’s a burst of momentum, not a steady climb.

With this kind of setup, I’m in no rush to take a position. I’d rather wait to see two things: first, whether volume can stay above average for several consecutive hours, instead of drying up after a single burst; and second, whether the range can tighten and the price can hold in the upper half of the range, rather than getting knocked back every time it surges. If either of these conditions fails, I’ll still consider it a high-volatility trading play—one to watch, not chase. With such a wide range and a price that isn’t near the top of its range, the biggest mistake is to use today’s excitement to write tomorrow’s script. Let the volume speak first.
