U.S. stocks hit a new high; Bitcoin fails to break $87,000 for the third time

Since September 23, Bitcoin has surged to around $87,000 for the third time, only to be knocked back down again. Binance spot price is now $85,598, down 0.3% over the past 24 hours, after reaching a high of just $86,699.

What stings even more is that this year's opening price was $87,570. More than nine months have passed, and Bitcoin is still below that line from the start of the year. Its rallies this year have repeatedly stalled there.

At the same time, the Nasdaq closed at another record high. Stocks are rising, but crypto hasn't kept up. Analysts say the price has squeezed into the tip of a triangle, with sellers consistently waiting above $87,000. Whichever way it breaks next, volatility won't stay this low for long.

I'll hold my spot position and wait for a genuine breakout before adding more. I'm not chasing this move.
