I’ve always known there’s a kind of attention you can attract, but I’ve never dared to go after it: bringing up all kinds of injustices in the country. It’s guaranteed to draw two kinds of responses: 1. “Patriots” who don’t think much for themselves—in other words, people brainwashed into stupidity. 2. People who agree.
The key point is that these “patriots” can’t stand hearing any criticism of the country, so they’re bound to argue back. But their arguments often lack logic and facts, and they tend to just shout slogans, which makes them hard to believe. That leads to even bigger controversies, and the cycle continues.
But this kind of attention is a double-edged sword. If things blow up, there’s a real chance the authorities will take notice. The odds may not be high, but there’s still a risk.
I admire the brave souls who dare to chase this kind of attention 😂
