$PI — the partnership with OUSD is official. A reward for Pioneers is not.

On 30/09, Pi Network announced a partnership with Open Standard, the company behind OUSD, a dollar-pegged stablecoin. That’s a fact.

What isn’t a fact: many people are already presenting this as “new money for Pioneers.” Pi only said it would “explore” reward programs. It didn’t say what the rewards would be, who would receive them, or what you need to do. None of that has been explained yet.

Another common mistake: Pi did not become a direct partner of Visa or Google. Open Standard has more than 200 partners, including Visa, Google, and Stripe, and Pi joined as another partner in this shared project.

My opinion: it’s good news, but for now it’s just a promise. OUSD’s model sends the yield from its reserves to the partners that distribute the coin. If OUSD circulates within the Pi ecosystem, Pi could receive a share and, who knows, pass some of it on to Pioneers. That’s my own reasoning, not an announcement. Until there are official rules, I’m not counting on anything.

My prediction: with all the buzz, “OUSD claim” links will start appearing in WhatsApp groups. That’s my prediction, not a confirmed scam. But there’s no way to claim anything right now. Before clicking on anything, check only Pi’s official channels.

In the full video, I separate fact from expectation and rumor. Channel members can watch it now; everyone else can watch it today at 7:03 p.m. Search for “Diovane Lopes” on YouTube.
