Peter Brandt Sees $XRP at $2.16 - But Says XMR, SOL and ETH Look Better

Veteran trader Peter Brandt has mapped out a possible move for XRP toward $2.16, which would mean roughly 43% upside from the $1.51 area shown on his chart. But he also made one thing clear: he still prefers several other crypto charts.

While $BTC remains the only crypto asset Brandt says he cares about fundamentally, his XRP view is based purely on price action. And right now, he sees both opportunity and a major obstacle:

• Bullish Pattern: Brandt sees a cup-and-handle structure that could also form the right shoulder of a larger inverse head-and-shoulders pattern.

• The $2.16 Target: Using a measured move from the pattern, he sees $2.16 as a possible objective if XRP continues higher.

• The Main Problem: Brandt says XRP has a "ton" of overhead supply from holders who bought higher during the 2025 rally and may sell as price returns toward $2-$3.70.

Brandt also ranked the alternatives. Monero is his clear favorite, while he described Solana's cup-and-handle setup as stronger than XRP's and said Ether has congestion without the same level of overhead supply.

If $XRP can absorb that selling pressure, $2.16 stays in play. But Brandt's warning is simple: chart targets are never guaranteed, and patterns can change fast.

Do you think XRP clears the overhead supply and reaches $2.16, or do XMR, SOL and ETH offer the cleaner setups?
