A bounce is not the same as a recovery that actually holds.

$ARX on Bitget gave a useful example.

A completed hourly close fell from $0.26800 to $0.26307, then price slipped further before recovering to a $0.27458 close.

The important part came next:
10 subsequent completed hourly closes stayed above the earlier $0.26800 reference.

Even after another pullback, the latest completed close I reviewed was $0.28344.

That's what I look for after a recovery: not just the first green candle, but whether subsequent trading continues to accept the higher level.

This isn't a breakout call or a buy signal. $0.26800 is simply the earlier completed-close reference, not a proven major support level.

The reusable test:
Recovery → pullback → does price keep holding the reclaimed reference?

If later completed candles lose it, the interpretation changes too.
