A valid signature doesn’t mean the transaction outcome is correct. The native transaction assertions introduced by the Ethereum Foundation yesterday aim to add an outcome check to the $ETH transaction: if conditions such as a minimum amount received or a spending limit aren’t met, the transaction is rolled back.

The idea is practical, but the proposal is still being designed, and EIP-7906 hasn’t yet been confirmed for inclusion in an upgrade. You still pay for the Gas already used when a transaction is rolled back, and the rules themselves must also be trustworthy—so don’t treat this as a live anti-theft safeguard just yet.
