Ethereum validator exit queue increased 392%, order book support remains solid, $ETH spot trading volume reached 490 million and funding rates stayed low
Binance ETH/USDT spot order book is holding at 2,729.61 USDT. The on-chain validator exit queue jumped 392%, and with $ETH in hand, tonight I’m first watching order book support and funding rates.
I just checked the ETH/USDT order book on Binance. Spot is oscillating narrowly around 2,729.61 USDT, up 1.25% over 24 hours. Spot volume for the day reached 490 million USDT, more than double yesterday’s 198 million. At the 14:00 snapshot, the perpetual funding rate was 0.0053%, which is roughly 5.8% annualized, so leveraged longs don’t look overheated. The on-chain staking exit queue jumping 392% is indeed noticeable, but queued withdrawals still need a few days before reaching exchanges to be sold, and there’s no sign of spot dumping on the tape.
The main market focus is still on Bitcoin. I switched to the Binance BTC/USDT order book and saw spot trading around 86,652.35 USDT, up 1.69% over 24 hours. Daily spot volume reached 1.216 billion USDT, and perpetual funding was 0.0019%. Total global market cap sits at 2.95 trillion dollars, with BTC dominance at 58.79% and Ethereum at 11.25%. The fear and greed index reads 70. Funds are still mainly staying in Bitcoin spot order books, with no clear spillover into altcoins.
I took a look at the order book depth on Binance. For ETH, bids are stacked densely in the 2,680 to 2,700 USDT range, while 2,780 to 2,820 USDT is the intraday high-volume trading zone above. If spot can hold the 2,680 USDT level, then buyer support is still intact; only a high-volume break below 2,650 USDT would weaken the structure. I’m keeping the core position and watching funding rates and support at 2,680 USDT.
