Holy crap, Capcom just open-sourced “RE:Dox,” the foundational technology behind its next-gen game engine, REX.
Put simply, it’s a token-based structured data engine for .NET. The official example uses player data, and shows deserialization speeds up to about 2.84 times faster in theory.
Now developers can use and modify it directly—as long as they comply with the Apache-2.0 license—and even include it in commercial projects.
