Can you get an airdrop even while holding stablecoins? Binance has extended this round of the USD1 airdrop—straight through to October 30.

It’s simple:
1. Just hold USD1 in your account. (Spot, funds, margin, and U-Perpetual contract accounts all count.) The system takes an hourly snapshot, calculates based on the lowest daily balance, and automatically credits WLFI every Friday.
2. Total reward pool: 150 million WLFI, plus up to 2.5 million USD1. Phase 1 (10.2–10.16) distributes 75 million WLFI. Phase 2 (10.16–10.30) distributes another 75 million WLFI plus up to 2.5 million USD1. Borrowed amounts don’t count.
3. In your futures or margin account: keep USD1 contract daily positions of 300 units or more, and your rewards can be multiplied by 1.2x.

How to look at it:
For retail users, idle stablecoins finally have a decent use case—no need to rebalance, no need to lock funds, and payouts arrive automatically every week. Media estimates put the annualized return at a bit over 5%, which is better than just doing nothing.
But keep expectations in check: you’re receiving WLFI, not U. If the coin price moves, your actual received returns will be discounted. Also, Phase 2 participation details haven’t been released yet. Remember to come back around October 16 for an update before deciding whether to step it up. You can “farm” the opportunity—just don’t flip the logic and risk your principal for an airdrop.
