Binance Alpha is giving out money again, but this time the rules are a bit counterintuitive—not who buys the most wins, but which day you buy, determining how much your trading volume is “worth. ”

Binance announced a CT trading competition on October 1: Concrete (CT) is split into two phases, each with a pool of 258,000 CT tokens. The top 2,000 participants ranked by buy-in amount will split the prize, with each person receiving 129 CT. Phase 1 is currently running from October 1–8, and Phase 2 runs from October 8–15.

How to look at it: what’s truly valuable in the rules is the “early-bird coefficient”—buys made during the first two days before the competition begins count as 3x; if you wait until the last day, it only counts as 1x. With the same amount of capital, the one who acts earlier gets 3x the ranking weight compared to someone who acts later.

There are also two common traps: only buys are counted—sells don’t count; and you must first tap “Participate” on the event page to register. Any volume you trade before registering is completely invalid. For Phase 1, about 3 days are left, and the bonus drops from 2x down to 1x; if you’re optimizing for value-for-money, entering on the first day of Phase 2 is the most advantageous.
