The XRP Ledger could activate an important change on October 9: BatchV1_1.
Its goal? To enable grouping up to 8 transactions into a single operation, with in particular a mode that allows a transaction to be executed entirely… or not at all.
Why is this date interesting?
🔹 30 validators out of 35 currently support the upgrade
🔹 That represents 85.71% support
🔹 The required threshold is above 80% for two weeks
⚠️ But October 9 is not guaranteed.
If support falls back below the required threshold before activation, the countdown can restart.
What I’m most interested in is therefore not whether XRP will rise because of this upgrade.
The real question is: can Batch make the XRP Ledger more practical for payments, trading, and tokenized assets?
