Bitcoin ETF saw inflows of $6.3 billion but then pulled back
In the third quarter, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of about $6.34 billion: roughly $172 million in July, about $3.52 billion in August, and around $2.65 billion in September—just enough to offset the estimated net outflow of about $5 billion in Q2. In the same period, Bitcoin rose by about 43% quarter-over-quarter, the strongest quarter since the end of 2024.
Right now, Binance spot Bitcoin is hovering around 85,200. Money has come in during the quarter, but the price hasn’t managed to push through the 87,000 mark. Gaining shares doesn’t mean spot prices can immediately catch up.
I’ll keep waiting for Bitcoin to pull back, then confirm it holds steady—only then will I slowly add more.
