Stargate and LayerZero are gradually shutting down support for more than 20 chains, and GOAT’s cross-chain messaging channel will also switch to its own infrastructure. These three tokens are issued by Stargate. Once the channel is closed, there will be no other exit routes, and your assets may not be recoverable.

If you’re still holding DeFi positions such as mining pools or lending/borrowing, you first need to redeem them back to your wallet before doing the cross-chain. BTC, GOATED, BTCB, and DOGEB are not affected and can still be held.

If developers are building cross-chain for in- and outflows of GOAT, they also need to complete the migration of LayerZero V2-related DVNs and Executors by October 30.

🔶In the same period, GOAT, as a diamond sponsor of KBW 2026, set up an AI agent at Booth 37 that could sell things on the spot. The process is simple: scan the QR code, log in with Kakao, choose a GOAT plush toy or a Starbucks card, pay with a bank card or cryptocurrency, and then go to the counter to pick up your order.

Within two days, 317 people started this process, and 300 completed it, for a completion rate of about 95%. For most people, this was their first time buying something through an AI agent. The on-site 95% completion rate mainly aims to prove that this kind of “agent-assisted ordering” isn’t just a concept demo—ordinary people, while queuing at the event, can actually use it end to end, so merchants may truly integrate.
