OPEC+ preliminarily maintains November quotas; Brent still trades near 102

Reuters via MarketScreener headline (02:53 EDT): A representative said OPEC+ in principle agreed to keep the November production target unchanged. No official communique in this filing; it is qualified as “delegate/in principle,” not a statement. Two Reuters sources on 9/30 had already expected no change, when it was also noted that no final decision had been made.

At Friday’s settlement, two sources matched: Brent Z6 at 102.25 (−0.06), WTI X6 at 91.11 (−1.76). Newsquawk and TradingEconomics (page updated 10/4, date column 10/2). The G7’s four-month diesel + crude volume of up to 100 million barrels had entered Friday’s pricing. The seven countries’ August production was about 25.0 million bpd, still roughly 5.0 million bpd lower than the two months before the war (Reuters, citing OPEC, 9/30).

Reuters on the October rate hike cites CME FedWatch at 22.7%, not mixed with the other terminal at around 17%.
