$NEAR Added issuance reduced to 1.6%—price still drops regardless; don’t let 4.59 break
With NEAR’s chart today, people holding it probably want to smash their phones.
The new proposal aims to gradually cut the year-over-year issuance from 2.5% down to 1.6%. In theory, that’s good for the long term—but the coin price at 4.68 still fell more than five percent. Nobody’s buying into it.
To put it plainly: short-term sentiment is just that rough. Don’t expect news to instantly pump the price.
The key support below is 4.59, the low from the past couple of days. If it breaks, it means the short-term trend has fully weakened. If that lower platform can’t be held either, it’ll be really hard to watch.
Resistance at 5.5 is too far away—don’t even think about it. First, stand above it; then we can talk about a rebound.
Funding rate is still positive, so bulls haven’t fully run. But open interest is mediocre—haven’t seen big money stepping in.
At this point, I can’t be bothered to move around. Let it choose its own direction.
