ChainCatcher: Messages—Ethereum Layer 2 network Blast has announced that it will be officially shut down. The stated reason is that operating costs are not sustainable.

According to official sources, approximately $63.5 million in funds remains stored in Blast’s native cross-chain bridge. Ordinary users need to initiate withdrawals via the standard interaction interface before October 26; after that, withdrawals made via smart contracts will continue as usual.
