Nasdaq is about to welcome a new crypto custody ticker. Evernorth, merged via a SPAC, is scheduled to officially list on October 8. Its balance sheet is directly tied to roughly 473 million units of $XRP . This route of packaging token assets and sending them onto the U.S. equities main board is tightly stitching together the traditional capital pool of securities markets with the crypto spot ecosystem.

In the context of cross-market linkage, risk appetite from U.S. capital is being rapidly transmitted through public-company shells. Traditional investors don’t need to deal with wallet management or compliance custody details—they can obtain token exposure directly within their brokerage accounts. When macro liquidity in U.S. markets and trading sentiment heat up, such stocks often act as high-beta amplifiers, mapping buy-side momentum in U.S. equities straight to the underlying assets.

However, this kind of custody structure is always accompanied by a discount/premium tug-of-war between the U.S. secondary market and on-chain spot. Whether the stock trading price can closely track net asset value depends on traditional market demand and how quickly cross-market arbitrage capital can smooth out discrepancies. Valuation performance and the size of the premium during the initial listing period will become a key slice for measuring the true strength of off-exchange institutions entering the market.
