The Ukrainian Bureau of Economic Security attacked a large network of crypto exchangers. During more than 30 searches in 16 regions of Ukraine, law enforcement officers seized cash in different currencies totaling more than 630 million hryvnias in the hryvnia equivalent. 14 million in US dollars. The operation was carried out jointly with the Office of the Prosecutor General.

This is the largest seizure of cash in the history of the BЭБ. According to the investigation, the network:
- exchanged cash currency and digital assets;
- transferred funds within Ukraine and abroad;
- converted cash into crypto assets;
- carried out operations without the necessary permit documents;
- did not record the received income in accounting and tax records.
Inside the network, such transfers were called "rearrangements." According to the law enforcement agencies’ statement, "premises of unlicensed exchange offices under a well-known trade name" were used for the work. It is claimed that investigators found hidden storage facilities, caches, and even tunnels for storing cash. In addition to money, law enforcement seized computers, mobile phones, and documentation that may contain information about the structure and operations of the network. Whether there are plans to "dig further" at the level of the customer base is not reported.
Which exact network of exchange offices law enforcement is referring to is not disclosed publicly. But it seems to be about the large KIT Group network.
In its official statement, without giving details about the search today, they write that "regulatory authorities’ compliance activities concerned individual operators of the currency exchange market, and that the publications in the media and on Telegram channels linking these events to the company are distorted and not confirmed by official sources." In KИТ Group, they claim that some of these materials are commissioned; the company continues to operate as normal, fulfills its obligations to clients and partners in full, and urges people to rely only on its official statements.

Overall, yet another reshuffle of the "fat" market appears to be underway.
