@Acurast is building a decentralized computing network powered by mobile phones. In simple terms, it uses the computing power of the idle phones we normally have and turns it into computation services for the network.
Compared with many DePIN projects that require you to additionally buy mining rigs and hardware, Acurast has a much lower entry barrier. If you have spare Android or iPhone devices, you can deploy them as Processors.
At the moment, the main one involved is Cloud Rebellion. Let me walk everyone through the process 👇
1️⃣ Enter Cloud Rebellion and connect your wallet
2️⃣ Complete the human-verification and join the event
3️⃣ Bind Discord, email, and social accounts
4️⃣ Complete the basic tasks and mini quizzes to start accumulating MIST
5️⃣ After completing 3 basic tasks, unlock your own invitation code
6️⃣ Switch to the Dashboard and claim test tokens
7️⃣ Download and install the Acurast Processor APP
8️⃣ Click Add Phone—after the wallet signs, a QR code is generated
9️⃣ Open the app on your phone, choose Onboard with Hub to complete the binding
🔟 Wait for initialization to finish; once the device is online, it can participate in computing as a Processor
After that, it’s pretty low-maintenance: keep the phone running, and if there are new tasks, just do them whenever you’re free—slowly accumulate MIST and related rewards.

This project doesn’t require you to buy any specialized equipment. If you have spare phones, you can make good use of them. Spend a bit of time getting through the initial steps, and things will be much easier afterward.
