Google just put AI hardware into orbit.

Project Suncatcher has reached space and established contact. Now comes the test that actually matters:

Can those TPUs sustain useful computation?

Heat and radiation can reduce productive uptime. And even successful computation doesn’t prove the economics work.

So I’m watching two things:
1. Sustained TPU uptime within thermal limits
2. Cost per completed workload

Until those numbers arrive, this is an important infrastructure experiment, not proof that orbital AI can relieve Earth’s data-center power constraint.
