October 2, 2026 | Today’s latest early news: BTC holds above 84,000, and altcoins continue to see rapid washouts both up and down.
Good morning, brothers and sisters. This morning BTC is at $84,600, up about 1.2%; ETH is at $2,700, up less than 0.5%. At the same time, $ENA is down 10.24%, $NEAR is down 8.82%, and $ZEC is down 6.38%. Capital hasn’t exited Crypto across the board; instead, money is rotating from altcoins that ran up too much earlier back into BTC, which has stronger liquidity.
Overnight, the 10-year US Treasury yield briefly surged to 5.34%, then retreated to around 5.23%. The S&P is up 0.2%, and the Nasdaq is basically flat. Oil prices are up about 3%, again pushing inflation concerns higher, but the Fed’s relatively mild comments temporarily help stabilize risk assets.
ENA is approaching a concentrated unlock. It rose 7.41% the day before, but today quickly gave it back—suggesting event-driven funds are running ahead to exit. NEAR and ZEC are both falling in sync; altcoins still can’t take much pressure.
Today, watch whether BTC can hold above $85,000. Only after a breakout will there be conditions to test $87,000. If it breaks below $83,200, the market will revert to range-bound trading. ETH needs to reclaim $2,720; otherwise it will remain weaker than BTC.
Today, gold is consolidating around $4,170. If US Treasury yields don’t fall back, sustained buying above $4,200 is still lacking. Tonight’s Nonfarm Payrolls will determine whether this rebound can continue. For more information, stay tuned to Mizhi Jun.#以太坊三季度涨70.9%
