$NEAR , on October 1st (Beijing time) the NEAR Intents cross-chain exchange service was hacked, resulting in losses of approximately $3.8 million.

NEAR is a public blockchain, and Intents is the cross-chain transaction layer they built. You specify what you want to exchange, and someone else helps you complete the trade.

They said it was due to a bug in Omni deposits/withdrawals and contract handover. The funds were mainly sent to BSC, involving USDT; the core chain and native tokens are fine. Affected users will be fully reimbursed, and the service is gradually being restored.
