DOT is rising very quietly, while retail investors are quietly adding longs.

Over the last 24 hours it rose 4%. Around a little after 9 PM it touched 1.2628, the day’s high. Now it’s around 1.236—down 2.1% from the high point.

In a single day, only $250,000 was liquidated—longs of $170,000 and shorts of $81,000. The largest single position was a $306,000 short order placed on Binance at 4:51 PM. Even after a 4% rise, so little was blown out—both sides were not heavily leveraged.

Positions are gradually being added. In Binance Futures over the last 15 hours, the number of contracts grew from 31.02 million to 32.11 million—up 3.5%, roughly in line with the price increase, with no rush-like crowding in.

What changes is the direction. On Binance, 24 hours ago the long accounts were 65.2%; now they’re 67%. Among the three accounts, two are betting on the upside.

The rate is unmoved; Binance and OKX are both at the 0.01% benchmark line, and the longs aren’t paying extra just to chase the rally.

People are crowding to one side, and leverage and fees haven’t caught up yet. If there’s really a pullback, it’s this batch of new longs that gets washed out first.

Do you think DOT can hold above 1.26 this time?
