Long positions liquidated after 9 o'clock amount to about $110,000, while short positions are only $247. The largest single liquidation is $9,774—leveraged longs aren’t getting squeezed.
The positions were being reduced. Binance’s holdings peaked at 24.59 million coins at 9 o’clock, then dropped to 23.64 million by 11:30, down by 0.95 million coins—nearly 4%.
Among Binance’s big holders, the share of long positions as a percentage increased from 78.1% at 8 o’clock to 78.6%, and it’s higher than the daily readings for each of the past 30 days. The OKX long/short accounts ratio also rose from 1.53 to 1.75.
The rate didn’t follow the heat; Binance’s next period is 0.005%, and OKX has already turned negative.
0.524 is the bottom that was just tested tonight—the big players bet on it, that it can hold.
