CRV fell for a full day, and the retail traders on Binance and OKX have taken the other side.

CRV is now at 0.3841. Binance is down 4.4% over the past 24 hours, while OKX is down 4.1%. After spiking to 0.4116 at around 5 p.m., it then kept sliding downward; from that high point it has fallen 6.7%.

Binance gets more people copying bottoms the further it falls. The proportion of long accounts was 52.2% at 10 p.m. last night, rising to 64.2% at 10 p.m. tonight—nearly every hour it keeps adding. Large holders’ positions are also 64.7% long.

OKX is exactly the opposite: the long-to-short account ratio is only 0.51, and in roughly two out of three accounts, people are short.

But the money didn’t follow. The number of coins held on Binance dropped from 81.93 million at around 6 p.m. to 77.71 million, down 5.2%. There are more accounts but fewer holdings—big funds are leaving, and the “bottom-catching” longs are mostly small orders.

In the past hour, CRV surged by $38,000, almost all of it was long positions, with only $5 in short positions.

On Binance, the more it drops, the more people buy/sell shorts—while OKX is going all-in on shorting. Which side do you trust?
