ARB defended the 0.20 line twice, while big players picked up from underneath.
Last night at 23:00, it got dumped from 0.210 to 0.2035 within an hour, with $148 million in volume, roughly four times the daytime per-hour amount today. After that, at 7:00 this morning and again at 14:00 this afternoon, it probed down to 0.2005 twice, but never broke 0.20. Now it’s at 0.2044, down 4.5% over 24 hours.
On the whole internet, $5.06 million was liquidated in a single day. Longs made up $450,000, close to 90%. Most of the liquidated longs were those chasing long positions above 0.21.
The price fell. In a single day, Binance holdings only went from 298.9 million coins to 298.4 million coins. No one has given up on a large scale.
Big players are actually adding positions. Binance big holders’ long exposure ratio rose from 63.6% to 65.3%. Retail accounts with longs are only 52.9%, with longs and shorts roughly split in half.
Rates also forked: Binance is at +0.0063% every 8 hours, while OKX flips to -0.0056%—over there, shorts start paying the difference.
If 0.20 comes for the third time, do you think you can still hold your position?
